Who am I?
Welcome to Loomis Mediation Services, serving New York State. I am Diana- founder and owner of LMS and I’ve spent over 15 years in the behavioral & mental health field, working with families and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Throughout my career, I often found myself engaged in conversations about the futures of my clients and their families, which led me to pursue mediation. Sifting through the weeds of conflict with guidance and support can produce an end result that may not have been considered before, eliciting a new mindset towards future disagreements.

Mediation is a powerful tool for resolving disagreements and fostering understanding. I enjoy working with people who are committed to honest, transparent conversations as they seek practical solutions and a way forward. Mediation can be especially helpful for strengthening interpersonal relationships, supporting new parents navigating changing roles and relationship dynamics, helping separated parents develop co-parenting plans and schedules, and guiding couples who are ready to formally and respectfully end their relationship.

I am deeply grateful to those who entrust me with their mediation journey. LMS is here to offer resolution for renewed tomorrows.

What is a mediator?
A mediator's role is to help people talk things through and find a solution that works for everyone, from a neutral lens. Unlike a judge or lawyer, a mediator doesn’t make decisions or tell anyone what to do. Instead, they guide the conversation, making sure everyone has a chance to share their thoughts and concerns, while keeping things respectful and on track. The mediator helps clear up any confusion, find common ground, and explore possible solutions, all while creating a space for cooperation. The goal is to help everyone work together to find a solution that’s best for all involved.
